Ithmaar Premier Ramadan Gift Box

When Ithmaar Bank approached us about putting together a Ramadan gift box for their Premier customers, we were honored. Ramadan in the Middle East and across the Muslim world is a time of reflection, generosity and responsibility. We wanted to align Ithmaar's ethics in banking with our passion for design in a highly symbolic and well-crafted gift featuring an Islamic-inspired pattern by Bahrain's Perfect Package and calligraphy and Arabic type handled in-house at JPA. 

The photographs below represent the initially proposed design. Our process took us through dozens of layouts, three miniature mock-ups and multiple production samples. The final result, above, ensured us exactly what the client specified - considering Ithmaar's branding guidelines - we managed spot UV printing and the right amount of space for gift items we procured, a modest yet luxuriously thick prayer rug and a felt-bound Qur'an with gold foiling.
